In 2019, I moved to my childhood home, renovated the basement, and opened an Airbnb on my first floor. I opened a little over three years ago. Even through the pandemic, I have been booked most of the time. At first, it was mostly medical professionals. I am currently a Super Host.
Over the past three years, I have hosted people from all over the world. Some as far as Australia and some have homes minutes from my house. I am closing mine but think my experiences may help other people as they open their own vacation rentals.
