The Brilliance of Donald J. Trump

Watching the right wing fall all over itself to be outraged over everything is truly dizzying

If this is who Jesus would support, I am glad I am not a Christian.

People on the right like to tell me I have “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS) because I think former President Donald J. Trump is not fit to be president. I think the real TDS is thinking that anything he says makes sense. Here are some of the ridiculousness I have seen:

• For months, they said Hunter Biden would never be prosecuted by Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) because it has been weaponized against conservatives. Now, his conviction is proof that the DOJ has been weaponized because this prosecution was Biden’s way to protect him and deflect from the “real” crimes the “Biden crime family” has committed.
• For decades, Trump has praised and actually sucked up to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Now, his supporters say he is the only one who can stand up to the Russian dictator OR they claim that Putin is a better leader than Biden. If you had told me when I was a kid the Republicans would support Russia as much as some of the MAGA nutjobs do, I would have thought you were nuts.
• Trump, who has called avoiding STDs in the 1970s was his “Vietnam,” cheated on all three of his wives, and hasn’t been to church in decades but he is like Jesus.
