Note to MAGA Peeps; You’ve Been Conned. Deal With It.

It’s time to take the tinfoil hats off, please.

I have to vent. I have been avoiding some MAGA peeps I know. Not because I disagree with their politics (although I do) but because their claims are so stupid, so easily disproved and so blatantly ignorant that I cannot deal with these people after reading such nonsense.

Case in point, someone I know posted about how hedge fund managers are buying all the property in Florida, jacking up the prices so locals can’t live there anymore. They ended the post with “Damn, Communists!” Right. Buh, bye.

I also keep reading how Democrats are “taking away our freedom of speech!” Meanwhile Sarah “I never saw an anti-Democratic slur that I didn’t like” Sanders, brags about banning the use of the word LatinX and the teaching of CRT in elementary schools but it’s Democrats banning free speech. Ron “I’m too Trumpy for this world” DeSantis just made it a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine for showing the wrong book to a student. PS the books in question include Roberto Clemente’s autobiography, and any book that mentions racism, or anything LGBTQ related.

And on that note, since when do parents need legislation to be more active and interested in their kids’ lives? The GOP…
