MAGA Is All About Nonsense and Hypocrisy

They whine endlessly about “cancel culture,” but cannot tolerate any thought that goes against their warped worldview.

Almost every day, I hear from people on the right that the left is all about canceling anyone who doesn’t conform to their woke worldview but all I see from the same people is the need to dictate what books we can read and what words we can use. President Donald Trump, this week, has decreed the Smithsonian has to rework its exhibits on American history to reflect his personal views and opinions. He also announced he will host the Kennedy Center awards and admitted he rejected awards for artists he felt were “woke.”

Meanwhile, Trump has restored Confederate monuments and renamed military bases for Confederate ̶t̶r̶a̶i̶t̶o̶r̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶l̶o̶s̶e̶r̶s̶ military leaders. It is always worth noting that the big hero of the Confederacy was General Robert E. Lee, who opposed building any monuments to the losing cause because he thought they would hinder the healing of the nation. The Confederate flag is not a rebellious symbol as its supporters claim. It is a symbol of oppression, treason, and losers. The South will rise again? F you, it will not.
