I agree with a lot of what you wrote BUT I see more chatter in the right about gender identity. A local official (Democrat) attended a drag event at a local petting zoo and the MAGA people around freaked out about it. They are all about bashing drag shows and queens as indoctrinating our youth. Moreover, they see child traffikers everywhere and think Disney World is the problem. None of the candidates I have watched on the D side are talking about this as much as the MAGA peeps.
