Haley and Pence Were Stars

The night offered up a few surprises, Haley’s performance was not one of them

Democrats ignore her at their own peril

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley was great last night. Yesterday, I wrote that she would be the breakout star of the first GOP presidential debate and she came through. Whether she was sparring with Vivek Ramaswamy on foreign relations and national security or with former Vice President Mike Pence on abortion, she knew her stuff and stood her ground. Whether she was calling former President Donald Trump “the most unpopular politician in America” or reminding the country of her experience, she was the breakout star.

Will she get the nomination? It’s doubtful BUT any ticket with her at the top, as I have said before, would be formidable. I LOVED it when she went toe to toe with Ramaswamy, whose understanding of foreign policy seems to come from Chat GPT 3.5 (knowledge base stops in 2021).

Who is this Mike Pence and where has he been for his entire life?
