Four Years Ago, We Lost Our Nation

And we have done little to get it back. I am angry about that, are you?

If you say you “back the blue” but aren’t angry about their deaths, you are full of shit.

This makes me angry. I am angry because too many people deny this happened. They say it was a liberal hoax. They say these were peaceful tourists. And that makes sense. I know when I visit a historic location, I like to smear my feces around. You know, so I can become a part of it.

I am angry because the people who claim to “back the blue” called the Capitol Police “traitors.” Those same police keep our democracy safe. They keep our elected leaders safe. They also keep safe all the people who work in those buildings and the people who visit.

I am angry because what should be a nation rallying event divides us between those who live on Earth 1 and those who have gone through the looking glass.

I am angry because I have lost friends, not to terrorism, but to the conpiracy rabbit holes that crowd social media. I am thinking of my “friend” Ananda who used to make sense and now posts that the moon landing was staged, vaccines are evil and Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Alex Jones makes sense. I still remember when she was capable of rational thought and I miss that person.

I am angry because these people put Trump back in office and while we have real threats…
