Dear (White )Men; Get Over Yourselves

Never has the earth seen such snowflakes and white men in the United States

For years, I saw this happen:

  1. Black people call out racism, and white men (and women) accuse them of “playing the race card.”
  2. Women try to press charges of rape and are told, “You’ll be dragged through the mud, let it go.”
  3. Members of the LGBTQ community try to live their lives and are told, “keep your lifestyle to yourself.”

It has always seemed that a decent percentage of the population longs for the 1950s when men were men and women were women and sheep were afraid. These are the people who post memes nonstop about how great it was when women dressed, acted, and looked the way white men wanted them to.

This photo was not taken in the 1950s but that is the least of my issues with it.

Let’s revisit women’s rights in the 1960s:

  1. Black women were not allowed to vote. I know what you are thinking, “The 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920, didn’t all women get the right to vote then?” No. No, they didn’t. “After the Nineteenth Amendment was ratified in 1920, Black women voted in elections and…
