Rumors of his demise may have been greatly exaggerated

Speculation about the 2024 election has been called “catnip.” At the top of the list of things people are talking about it is President Joe Biden’s approval rating. Pundit after pundit has announced Biden is too old and too unpopular with his base.

If you believe the people over at 538, only 39.2 percent of the population likes the job President Biden is doing as president. Things look even bleaker for the guy when people are asked if they want him to run in 2024. A whopping 70 percent say they want someone else.

The New York Post put out the above graphic they also reported:

Nearly two-thirds of Democratic voters (64%) want the party to pick a different candidate for the 2024 presidential race, while more than three-quarters of Americans (77%) say the country is moving in the wrong direction, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll released on Monday.

Biden’s age (he is 79) has been talked about a lot. From the same article:

Nicole Farrier, a 38-year-old preschool teacher in Michigan, told the Times she voted for Biden in 2020 in the hope that he would be able to bridge the political divisions in the country, but has become thoroughly disillusioned now.
